Upon completion of the basic education level program (BA program) the students can continue their studies within one of over 10 MA programs offered by the School of International Relations.

Today holding an MA degree is a basic requirement for anyone who wants to make a successful career and hold top positions. The MA degree from the School of International Relations is highly valued and acknowledged both in Russia and abroad.


MASTER’S PROGRAMS

Master’s Program is an important priority of St Petersburg State University School of International Relations. The first MA program was opened in 1996 and today the School prides itself on offering its students as many as 13 world-class MA programs.

The study programs offered by the School combine the traditions of Russia’s old university and the best practices and experience of our foreign partners among which are the leading universities of Europe and the USA.

The MA students can choose the disciplines that they find the most relevant to their study interests from an exhaustive list including, among others, such courses as “The History and Theory of European Integration”, “The Socio-Cultural Studies of the Baltic Region”, “Diplomacy of International Universal Organizations”, etc. The high quality of MA programs is widely acknowledged both in Russia and abroad.

While doing their MA studies the School students have an opportunity to participate in numerous exchange and internship schemes. As a result, those holding an MA degree from the School of International Relations have good wide-ranging knowledge and practical skills to meet any professional challenges.
