Founded in 1994 the School of International Relations has become the only educational center in St. Petersburg that graduates highly qualified professionals in international relations. Nowadays the School collaborates with over forty universities and organizations in Europe and North America and participates in such international projects as TEMPUS and Civil Education Project. The School of International Relations is a member of the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA) that unites leading universities of the United States, Asia and Europe specializing in international relations.
All our faculty members hold academic degrees. Most of them have taught at universities in North America and Europe. Our lecturers include officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, St. Petersburg City Government and Members of the Academy of Science. At the same time, many foreign professors come to our School as part of numerous exchange programs. The School frequently hosts international seminars and conferences that bring together distinguished scholars, politicians and public figures.
The School of International Relations houses information centers of some leading international organizations: the European Documentation Center, the Regional Center of Information and Documentation of the Council of Europe and United Nations Depository Library, the Center of Iberian Studies, the Center of Indian Studies.
